Travelogues
When traveling - whether touring cities or hiking through nature - I frequently take a small watercolor or sketch pad to record memories. Drawing and painting what I see helps me to notice more deeply - colors, textures, and flavors. The images in my art are all based on what I have seen and experienced but I frequently combine them into a continuous fantastical landscape as they blend into each other.
